One of the best things about summer in Missoula is the Out to Lunch and Downtown ToNight Summer Series that take place every Wednesday afternoon and Thursday evening in June, July and August in Caras Park.

 The Missoula Downtown Association is gearing up for the 2017 summer season, and the deadline to apply for both food vending and entertainment for these beloved summer events that draw thousands of folks to the heart of Missoula is fast approaching.

Mountain Line Closed Monday for Presidents’ Day

MISSOULA – Mountain Line will be closed on Monday, February 20th in recognition of the Presidents’ Day federal holiday.  All 12 fixed routes, Paratransit, Senior Van, and the customer service line will be closed for the day.  Service will resume on a normal weekday schedule on Tuesday, February 21st. Join Us for Summer StARTS


Summer 2017 is peeking around the corner, and the Missoula Children’s Theatre is ready! Stop by the MCT Center for the Performing Arts on First Friday, March 3, for Summer StARTS. From 4-6PM, the lobby of the MCT Center for the Performing Arts will be filled with your child’s Missoula summer day camp opportunities for theatre, arts, dance, and all kinds of movement! The Missoula Children’s Theatre will be joined by the Roxy Theater, On Center Performing Arts, Show Tyme Academy, Missoula Writing Collaborative, Bitterroot Gymnastics, MCAT, Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre, and the Clay Studio of Missoula. After planning and producing the Missoula Festival of Trees since 1999, Mountain Home Montana and Festival Chairman Laura Snyder have gifted the holiday event to the Missoula Downtown Association (MDA), which will look to build, expand and sustain the event into a festive holiday experience for all in the heart of Downtown Missoula. Performances of The Emperor's New Clothes

A new year, and a new show! The Missoula Children’s Theatre is proud to unveil the world premiere of The Emperor’s New Clothes.While the premise of this Hans Christian Andersen classic will be familiar, the Missoula Children’s Theatre version surely contains its trademark comical twists, turns, and colorful characters.
