Rent the Caras Park Event Venue

The Caras Park venue is available to book year-round, making it an ideal location for your next outdoor event. Enjoy stunning views of the Clark Fork River while having the convenience of being in beautiful Downtown Missoula.

Each year, Caras Park hosts over 60 public and private events ranging from BrewFests and weddings to car shows and private business events. Bring your event to the Heart of Missoula. Review booking details below.

Caras Park Rental Pricing

Caras Park is booked by the day. Upon booking, you have access to the venue from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm for the given booking date. Multi-day bookings are available. Missoula Downtown Association members receive a $100 rental discount.

Events booked Monday–Thursday: $975
Events booked Friday–Sunday: $1,200

How to Book Caras Park for Events

To reserve the Caras Park venue, you’ll work directly with Jake Treece, the Downtown Missoula Partnership Operations Coordinator, who will guide you through the entire rental process from start to finish.

Step 1: Check Availability

Check availability for your event date and submit an official reservation inquiry here, or directly contact Treece at [email protected] or (406) 543-4238.

Step 2: Submit Reservation Request

Once availability is confirmed, submit a signed Confirmation Form along with a non-refundable $200 deposit to lock in your reservation. This deposit will be applied to your rental cost and secure your event date.

Step 3: Submit Final Documentation and Payment

After your reservation is secured, you must provide the following documents below, along with the remaining balance of your reservation, at least 30 days before your event.

Pavilion Lease Agreement: This is a formal agreement that both the lessor and lessee must sign.
Pavilion Layout Form: This form details how you would like the pavilion to be set up, including the orientation of chairs, tables, and other equipment by our facilities team.
Caras Park Alcohol Permit (If Applicable): If alcohol will be served at your event, an alcohol permit must be completed along with a $10 fee. Additional documentation and fees may apply if you plan to sell alcohol at the event.
Card on File Form: In lieu of a security deposit, our venue will keep a card on file and charge the lessee a $350 fee if the venue is damaged or not returned in good condition.
Certificate of Insurance: The reserving party must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) through their insurance provider with coverage of at least $2 million. The COI must also cover the Missoula Downtown Association as an additional insured party.

Venue Highlights

9,000 square feet of flexible space, including the Caras pavilion structure, bandshell main stage, and arena seating ring. Custom lighting options under the pavilion canopy are also available.

Furniture & Equipment

190 folding chairs, 35 8-foot tables, a popup stage, adaptable pavilion side curtains for atmosphere and privacy, five umbrella stands, and two cornhole sets.

Utilities & Amenities

Electricity (110v & 220v), cold running water spigot, garbage dumpsters, cans, and liners, as well as adjacent restroom facilities (available April 15 – October 15).

Additional Features

Facilities Staff on-site to help set up pavilion equipment, monitor trash and bathrooms, and assist with tear down. Additional standup tents, hand sanitizer stations, and ATMs are available upon request.
