Step back in time with an exclusive Unseen Missoula historic walking tour. Discover hidden stories as you wander the streets of Downtown with expert guides. Then, enjoy a curated fine dining experience that beautifully blends history and flavor.
Connect with fellow supporters and learn about the Missoula Downtown Foundation’s latest projects and initiatives. Towards the end of the event, there will be an opportunity to make a meaningful donation that will directly support the enhancement of Downtown through the vibrancy of arts and culture, livability, economy, and safety.

What to Expect
The Past to Plate experience will include the opportunity to learn about the ‘unseen’ history of Downtown Missoula, along with an exclusive menu to dine on at one of Missoula’s top restaurants. Learn more about what awaits below.
Tour & Explore
Your evening begins with a private guided walking tour through a fascinating pocket of Downtown Missoula, uncovering the stories and spaces not typically seen by the public. Each tour lasts about 60 minutes and is designed to end within a short walking distance of that evening’s featured restaurant.
Dine & Discuss
Immediately following the tour, guests will enjoy a specially curated dinner from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm, prepared just for this occasion by our participating restaurant partners. Each restaurant will craft a unique menu for the evening, with all guests enjoying the same entrée, typically a red meat or chicken dish, with a vegetarian option available upon request.
Your Evening Hosts
Each event is hosted by two members of the Missoula Downtown Foundation Board, alongside a tour guide and Foundation staff. These small group gatherings create the perfect setting for meaningful conversation, shared stories, and connection over a shared love of Downtown Missoula.

Plonk
Plonk offers its clientele a stunning venue in which to congregate amongst friends, family, or business associates. It provides attentive yet relaxed service to patrons, whether they are stopping in for a quick cocktail after work or settling into a nine-course meal in its private cellar.

Stables
The Stables is Missoula’s newest wine bar and restaurant. The Stables offers over 100 wine options, a full bar, craft beer, and classically inspired cuisine from our executive chef, Jarrod Somaoang, and chef de cuisine, Michael Kelly.
Registration Details
Upon registering, guests will select their preferred meal type. The Missoula Downtown Foundation will coordinate all meal arrangements for all confirmed attendees. The tour and meal are included in this experience. You’ll receive full event details, including your tour’s starting location, in advance of your selected date.
