Business Improvement District Board

The BID Board of Trustees is a seven-member leadership team appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. The board members are property owners or representatives appointed to a four-year term to serve these interests: Zone 1, Zone 2, Greater and Less than 20,000 square feet, South of the River, City of Missoula, and At-Large.

The BID is created and renewed by a petitioning process, whereby property owners decide to self-assess for commonly-held goals in the district. The Downtown Missoula BID will seek renewal for another 10-year period in 2019-20. The BID Board meets the third Thursday of the month at 3 pm at the DMP Office (218 E. Main).
