MDF participates in Missoula Gives – Flower Your Downtown
As a part of the spring campaign each year, the Missoula Downtown Foundation raises funds for 150 vibrant, hanging flower baskets place throughout Downtown Missoula. These baskets of color and life bring joy, art, and seasonal blooms to the Heart of Missoula each year.

What does our Spring Campaign Fund?
The Missoula Downtown Foundation’s spring campaign raises funds to support the initiatives below in 2026 and the years to come.
Downtown has come a long way, but the momentum depends on people who care—people like you. A gift helps to shape what downtown looks and feels like in 2026 and beyond.

Creating More Beautiful and Welcoming Public Spaces
The Downtown Missoula Partnership, which houses the Missoula Downtown Foundation, leads the charge in the beautification and placemaking of Downtown Missoula. Each year, the organization invests in, maintains, and installs street décor — including flower baskets, boulevard banners, and the well-known holiday decorations.
Funds from the Fall Campaign help expand the number of flower baskets displayed each year, support the upkeep of boulevard banners and brackets, and ensure that Downtown shines bright with holiday décor each December.
Improving Access and Gathering Areas for Families and Visitors
Downtown Missoula is home to several hubs and gathering spaces where people of all ages can enjoy the beauty and energy of the district. Locations like Caras Park and the adjacent Beartracks Underbridge Playspace are true gems of Downtown and have benefited from many meaningful investments in recent years.
Funds from the Fall Campaign will support continued improvements to the playspace and Caras Park, as well as the addition of new district gateway signs that welcome visitors to Downtown Missoula.
Supporting Local Culture, History, and Small Businesses
There’s no denying that Downtown Missoula has a vibrant soul — and the Missoula Downtown Foundation is committed to keeping it that way while introducing meaningful enhancements to this beautiful place. By supporting the MDF Fall Campaign, your contribution will help fund the annual Arts & Culture Impact Grants, share the rich history of Downtown Missoula, and invest in projects that increase visibility for local businesses.
