MCT, Inc. is an umbrella organization sitting atop two distinct yet connected programs: the Missoula Community Theatre and the Missoula Children’s Theatre.

Within Missoula, we are an arts organization committed to staging local productions, children’s musicals, revues, and showcases. Across the country and throughout the world, the Missoula Children’s Theatre is recognized as the world’s largest touring children’s theatre, bringing performing arts opportunities to communities, most notably to kids, who might not otherwise have access to them.

Locally, the Missoula Children’s Theatre offers day camps, after school production classes, off-site performing arts camps, skills classes, private acting lessons, and an accredited musical theatre training program for teens called Next Step Prep. The majority of our children’s programming culminate into public performances. All of our touring shows begin their journey in Missoula, with local kids in the cast.

The Missoula Community Theatre offers a five-show season that includes musicals, comedies, holiday shows, and dramas, and runs autumn through late spring. All of our productions are professionally produced, directed, and designed in-house. Each production is fueled by the hundreds of volunteers (onstage, backstage, and offstage), board members, donors, patrons, and others who comprise our passionate, talented, and invested community.
