Hotels and Hooligans

Daily life and culture in Missoula during the city’s railroad boom—the Hotels and Hooligans tour looks at how the average Missoulian (whether long-time or just passing through) lived and recreated. Scandals and other sketchiness from the Courthouse to the seedy underbelly of Missoula’s railroad hotel district will also be revealed!

5:30pm – Hotels and Hooligans Tour

Meet promptly at the Mullan Statue (across from the Red Xs) for 5:30pm tour start

6:30pm – Dinner at Plonk (in the wine cellar down a flight of stairs):

Course 1: Herbed taleggio risotto paired with a grapefruit and sea bean salad

Course 2: Grilled coulotte steak, potato puree, grilled asparagus, tallow bearnaise, topped with crispy shallots

Course 3: Basque cheesecake with a flathead cherry compote

Beverage: A glass of wine or beer
