My Missoula: LumenAd

LumenAd is an advertising technology company that helps brands and advertising agencies execute digital marketing campaigns. We launched the LumenAd platform this January, which has been a runaway success. We also provide managed services for quite a few national brands, so every day’s a little different with its own unique challenges.

How long have you been in business? 

LumenAd started in 2014 in an unfinished Missoula basement.

Why did you choose to locate your business downtown?

LumenAd moved into a small office on the 5th floor of the Florence Building later that year (2014). Since then, we’ve grown to occupy the whole 5th floor. The Florence Building was always top choice thanks to its place in Missoula’s history, central location and proximity to Market on Front’s breakfast burritos.

If you had 24 hours to spoil yourself, where would you visit in Downtown Missoula and why? 

My friends and I spend a lot of time downtown, whether we are shopping, eating or just hanging out. In the mornings I typically convince everyone to get pastries and coffee from Le Petit and we are never disappointed. After breakfast we might go shopping. Our absolute favorite place to buy clothing downtown would be Betty’s Divine but we also like to stop by JL+KO. If its someone’s birthday we always get a cupcake from Bernice’s Bakery and a card from either Rockin Rudy’s or Noteworthy.

Now that the weather is getting nicer we like to spend our weekend afternoons sitting outside Draught Works enjoying a glass or two of whatever’s on tap for the day.

In the evenings our go to place to get a nice dinner downtown would be Top Hat, but if it’s a crazy wait to get a table we typically fall back on the old reliable, Tamarack. Tamarack always has something for everyone and there is never a shortage of food or beer. To end our night you could probably catch us somewhere between The Rhino and Thomas Meagher Bar.
