The Heart of Missoula Hasn’t Missed a Beat Video Contest

Show us a thriving Missoula Downtown!

Submission Details

We know the past few months have been trying for everyone and people are concerned about our Missoula community. We want Missoulians to see that their community is still pressing on and continues to be vibrant despite the challenges and changes it has had to make.

Call to Action: We want to see Downtown through your eyes. Create a 60-90 second video that inspires people to come Downtown, support our local businesses, and find new ways to experience Downtown. Make sure your video showcases downtown Missoula positively and that many aspects of Downtown are represented – businesses, people walking about, surfers on the river, etc. Your video submission should show that life is continuing Downtown and we are here to welcome the community with open, and safe arms. Also be sure that folks in your video footage are adhering to social distancing recommendations, wearing masks, etc. Your video can be polished, or self-made. For DIY videos, use your smartphone (hold it horizontally) and edit with free video editing software.

Here are some key phrases to use as inspiration for your video submissions:

  1. Missoula Downtown, Connecting Our Community
  2. Make it Memorable. Make it Downtown.
  3. The Heart of Missoula Hasn’t Missed a Beat

The Downtown Missoula Partnership wants to discover new, fresh filmmakers/videographers to hire for future projects and to recommend to its members for work. This is your opportunity to show off your best work.
