The Business Improvement District of Downtown Missoula takes pride in funding initiatives that keep the Downtown district clean year-round. Two teams that are critical in leading these efforts are the Downtown Missoula Maintenance Team and the Clean Team. Learn more about these teams below.

What Is the Downtown Clean Team?
The Clean Team is a contracted service for Downtown Missoula, provided by Opportunity Resources, Inc. The Clean Team is comprised of five to six adults with developmental disabilities plus a supervisor. The Clean Team is one of Missoula’s most appreciated programs, as its employees can serve in a capacity and space where the public can truly appreciate their tangible contributions.
The Clean Team provides services including picking up garbage, pulling weeds, and maintaining tree wells and grates throughout Downtown. The Downtown Clean Team was the first program created to help clean up Missoula’s city center in 2006 and is funded by Downtown property owners.
