Raise a Glass to 15 Years of Winter BrewFest

RAISE A GLASS TO 15 YEARS OF WINTER BREWFEST

Winter BrewFest Returns to Caras Park on Saturday, February 28

Winter BrewFest is back for its 15th anniversary on Saturday, February 28. Winter BrewFest will take place at Caras Park and feature over 40 taps from Montana-based breweries, a wine and mimosa bar, local food trucks, and a live DJ from 1-6pm.

Produced by the Downtown Missoula Partnership, this year’s Winter BrewFest will embrace a ruby red theme to commemorate 15 years of this signature event, offering both an opportunity and, for many, an excuse to get outside in the heart of winter, shake off the winter blues, and enjoy some iconic Montana brews.

This event’s drink lineup will include 40-plus taps featuring quality, Montana-based craft beers, ciders, and seltzers, along with a wine and mimosa bar. Nonalcoholic options will also be available for non-drinkers and designated drivers, offering truly something for everyone.

While Mother Nature has taken a turn this winter, bringing abnormally warm temperatures, the event will remain equipped with burn barrels and space heaters to keep things cozy and buzzing. Adding to the atmosphere, Winter BrewFest’s longtime performer, DJ TRX, will mix beats throughout the event. Local food trucks will be on site, including Deli Arepa, Pattie Wagon, and Servin’ Thyme. This year will additionally include an axe-throwing opportunity.

Winter BrewFest is proudly sponsored by Republic Services, The Trail 103.3, Mountain Hot Tub, C’s Exterior Designs, KettleHouse Brewing Company, Zoo City Apparel, Sinful Beverages, Pine and Iron, and 208 Tees. Thanks to these sponsors, the event remains admission-free, allowing everyone in the community to attend and enjoy the ambience, music, and food vendors.

Those looking to sample the beverage selection must purchase an official event taster glass for $20 per person, which includes three drink tokens. Additional tokens will be available for $2 each. A limited-edition 12-ounce Winter BrewFest stein mug will be available for $30 and includes three tokens. Only 700 mugs will be sold. The event will accept both cash and credit cards. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for the widest selection and to remember to drink responsibly and plan for designated drivers.

This year’s event offers a unique moment for attendees, as the community can enjoy views from the newly completed riverfront terrace at Brennan’s Wave, which was still under construction during the 2025 Winter BrewFest. Guests can additionally observe ongoing improvements to the Caras Park pavilion and bandshell, both receiving fresh coats of paint. Notably, this will be the last large-scale event held under the current pavilion canopy, originally installed in 1997, before its replacement this spring.
