The Downtown Holiday Window Decorating Contest has been an annual holiday promotion in Downtown Missoula since 1999. Winners were selected by online community voting November 27- December 18 and receive a cookie box from Bernice’s Bakery or Mary’s Mountain Cookies to share with staff.

The windows will remain decorated for the rest of the holiday season. Missoulians are encouraged to come Downtown to enjoy the festive scenes at each business as they round out their holiday spending and ‘Put Their Money Where Their Heart Is’. Small businesses are the backbone of the Missoula-area economy, and many locally-owned small businesses have been drastically impacted by the pandemic. The community is asked to support our local economy and small businesses by shopping and dining in Downtown Missoula. Downtown businesses are extending hours of operation, offering special promotions, and providing personal touches and connections along the way.
