Discover hidden stories as you wander the streets of Downtown with expert guides. Then\, enjoy a curated fine dining experience that beautifully blends history and flavor. It’s not just a meal – it’s a journey through time\, with the opportunity to connect with your community and support what you love about Downtown. \nConnect with fellow supporters and learn about the Missoula Downtown Foundation’s latest projects and initiatives. Towards the end of the event\, there will be an opportunity to make a meaningful donation that will directly support the enhancement of Downtown through the vibrancy of arts and culture\, livability\, economy\, and safety. \n  \nUnseen Missoula Tour:\n\nBasements and Back Alleys \nA holistic look at downtown life during Missoula’s transition from a marginal frontier town to a major local economic and cultural center from 1880 to 1920. The tour starts at Caras Park and lasts approximately 60 minutes. This tour is not ADA accessible and includes going up and down 5+ flights of stairs.  Elevators are not available in most buildings. These less-accessible spaces remain hidden the majority of the year\, so catch them while you can… \n5:30pm – Basements and Back Alleys Tour\nMeet promptly in front of a Carousel for Missoula @5:30pm for tour start \n6:30pm – Dinner at Plonk (in the wine cellar down a flight of stairs)\n \nCourse 1: Herbed taleggio risotto paired with a grapefruit and sea bean salad \nCourse 2: Grilled coulotte steak\, potato puree\, grilled asparagus\, tallow bearnaise\, topped with crispy shallots \nCourse 3: Basque cheesecake with a flathead cherry compote \nBeverage: A glass of wine or beer \n(vegetarian option upon request)
