DESCRIPTION:Experience Downtown’s greatest community events in two hours! COVID-19 had a significant impact on the Downtown Missoula community and the Missoula Downtown Association (MDA). The loss of community festivals\, membership events and Caras Park rentals meant the MDA lost more than 50% of its annual funding that brings life and vibrancy to the Heart of Missoula in 2020. \nThe MDA and the Missoula PaddleHeads will once again partner together to offer Swing for Downtown\, a Top Golf extravaganza fundraiser at Ogren Park Allegiance Field on Friday\, October 1\, 2021 from 9am – 7pm. \nSwing for Downtown will feature nine holes on the concourse of Ogren Park Allegiance Field. Each hole will feature a different community event or unique aspect of downtown for our community to experience! Have a beer at Downtown ToNight\, take a tour of Unseen Missoula\, and then take a tour of the Festival of Trees all while playing a fun nine holes of golf! This event is for amateurs and pros alike. After your round\, stay and mingle on at the party deck with food and drinks! \nCost: $300 per team (5 players per team) \nRegistration includes a swag bag\, one complimentary adult beverage\, and a meal.  Additional food and beverages will be available for sale\, and there will be additional games\, raffles and entertainment throughout the day\, so folks are encouraged to bring cash\, as well as their clubs. \nA few notes! \n\nWe are asking participants to not bring outside food or beverage into the stadium as there will be food and beverages available for purchase.\nFolks can bring their whole set of golf clubs (for ease of carrying)\, but only pitching wedges and a putter are all that is needed for the golf outing. DESCRIPTION:Join our guides as we trade two legs for two wheels and talk about the continuing impact of place\, geography\, and the environment on Missoula\, from Glacial Lake Missoula to the age of tourism. Please be prepared for all types of weather. Closed toed shoes are highly encouraged. We will not have water available so please feel free to bring your own. \nRequirements:\n\nAll riders must bring their own bike\nAll riders must know how to ride a bike\nAll riders must wear a helmet at all times\nAll riders under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult\n\nCOVID-19 Precautions: \n\nMasks will be required. If you do not have a mask/face covering\, we will provide one for you.\nIf you have any COVID-19 related symptoms\, we are asking you to please stay home. We will offer refunds with no stipulations\, with the option of donating your ticket. We want to make sure everyone is safe and healthy.\nWe are asking everyone to maintain physical distancing when possible. If you come with a group that you feel comfortable with\, then that group will be physical distancing from others in the tour.\n\nTHERE ARE NO HARD TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT. \nPlease keep your confirmation email and bring your order ID\, ticket number and ID to check-in. \n\nPlease arrive a few minutes before the tour start time in Caras Park near the Carousel. There will be a large sign indicating where to meet.

Please arrive a few minutes before so the tour can begin promptly at 4:30pm. The tour will last approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and will be cover about a mile on foot. Please come prepared with walking shoes\, a bottle of water and clothing for the weather. \nCOVID-19 Precautions: \n\nMasks will be required.
