Towards the end of the event\, there will be an opportunity to make a meaningful donation that will directly support the enhancement of Downtown through the vibrancy of arts and culture\, livability\, economy\, and safety. \n\nBasements and Back Alleys Tour \nA holistic look at downtown life during Missoula’s transition from a marginal frontier town to a major local economic and cultural center from 1880 to 1920.  This tour is not ADA accessible and includes going up and down flights of stairs and elevators are not available in most buildings. To show our appreciation to our campus community\, this event is free of charge to family weekend participants! In partnership with the Missoula Downtown Association and Unseen Missoula\, the UM Public History Program is excited to present this tour of campus through the ages. \nPlease Meet at the Ethnobotany Garden outside of the Payne Family Native American Center.  \nThese tours will be held rain or shine! Come prepared with weather-appropriate clothing and shoes that are comfortable for walking and standing for two hours (seating is available at a few stops but is not consistently provided) We are looking forward to having you along for this historical adventure on the University of Montana Campus!
