2010 Garden City Brewfest
May 1, 2010 – 12-8pm – Caras Park – Downtown, Missoula
Join us for the 18th Annual Garden City Brewfest the first Saturday in May. This favorite annual event features more than 50 beers on tap, a wine bar, food and live music. $7 gets you a 7-ounce signature tasting glass and two drink tokens – additional tokens are just $1 each. Cash For Junkers: 12-4 pm
Cash for Junkers gets the party started with some honky-tonk hillbilly jazz that’s unlike any other band you’ve ever heard. From great original songs to obscure old country, they are sure to get the 17th Annual Garden City Brewfest off to a fantastic start.
Reverend Slanky: 4-8pm
The Montana PBR Band of the Year keeps the party rockin’ in the second half of the day. Those who know the band certainly have felt their hyper-percussive beats reverberate through their feet in the last couple of years on the floor of the Top Hat, the Other Side, the Badlander and every outdoor venue where they have injected a litany of funk and soul, R&B and Afro-Cuban beats – Al Green to Stevie Wonder to Beck – into the Missoula music scene. This kick off to the festival season is not to be missed!
