Committees


  • Membership- Responsible for the recruitment and retention of membership.
  • Image- Coordinates advertising and cohesive marketing efforts for Downtown.
  • Retail- Plans and implements promotions with the intention of helping retailers increase business.
  • Parking Advisory- Serves as a liaison between the Missoula Parking Commission and the MDA.
  • Out to Lunch in Caras Park- Coordinates and manages the Out to Lunch Program.
  • Downtown ToNight in Caras Park- Coordinates and manages the Downtown ToNight program.
  • MDA Barbecue- Responsible for producing and hasting the annual MDA barbecue each June.
  • Business Improvement District- Researching implementation of a BID to maintain redevelopment efforts of Downtown.
  • Holiday Committee- Plans Santa’s Arrival Downtown and the annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree.
  • Special Committees- Include event committees such as Party Gras, Night Before the Days, Storefront University and Bank Street Dinner/Dance.
